How do I care for my garments?

Our pieces are made with TENCEL™ and bamboo fibers, chosen for their softness, breathability, and sustainability. With a little extra care, they’ll stay beautiful for years to come.

Washing

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle

Turn garments inside out

Wash with like colors

Use a mild, eco-friendly detergent

Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals

Drying

Lay flat or hang to air dry

Avoid the dryer — heat can weaken natural fibers and affect the fit and feel

Ironing / Steaming

Use a low heat setting if needed

Steaming is recommended to release wrinkles gently

Storage

Fold or hang carefully

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

Why This Matters

Natural fibers like TENCEL™ and bamboo respond best to gentle care. High heat and over-drying can break down the fibers over time. Caring for your garments thoughtfully helps extend their life — and that’s at the heart of slow fashion.

How long does it take to process and ship my order?

Orders are processed and shipped within 5–10 business days. Need it sooner? Leave us a note at checkout and we’ll see what we can do.

What is your return policy?

At KAMEA, each piece is made with care and intention. Because of the nature of our small-batch, slow fashion process, we do not offer returns or refunds at this time.

Exchanges

We are happy to offer exchanges for size or store credit only, when eligible.

1. Exchange requests must be submitted within 3 days of delivery

2. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition

3. Sale and discounted items are final sale and not eligible for exchange

4. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless it instructed otherwise.

5. Once your item is received and approved, exchanges or store credit will be processed within 1-3 business days

Final Sale

All items purchased on Sale, Flash Sales, at Craft Fair events are non-returnable, ALL SALES FINAL

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged item or an incorrect order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we’ll take care of you.
